How to create a WhatsApp catalog (and sell from inside the chat)
A WhatsApp catalog turns your chat thread into a mini storefront — customers browse products, see prices, tap to add to cart, and check out without leaving WhatsApp. It's free to set up and works on both the Business app and the API. Open the catalog tool
Business app: Settings > Business tools > Catalog. API/Commerce Manager: business.facebook.com/commerce/catalogs > Add catalog.

Add your first product
Tap Add product > upload up to 10 images per item (1024×1024, square) > name (≤200 chars), price, description (≤300 chars), website link, SKU. Save.

Organize into collections
Once you have 6+ products, create collections (e.g. 'New arrivals', 'Best sellers'). Collections become quick-pick sections customers see in chat.

Share the catalog in chat
In any conversation: paperclip icon > Catalog > pick item(s) > send. Customer taps a product card to view details and add to cart.

Sync from Shopify / Woo (optional)
In Commerce Manager > Data sources > 'Use a partner platform', connect Shopify or your feed URL. Products, prices and inventory sync automatically.
